London Adventures

Last weekend, I went to London with some amazing people. I had such a great time and i now have so many new friends, memories and experiences.
Here are some of the things we did:

Sightseeing
  We saw so many amazing things in London, like:
-Buckingham Palace
-all of the monuments and big fountains
-The London Eye
-Big Ben

Shopping
  We got to do alot of shopping in London whilst we were there. We shopped around Covent Garden, Borough Market and Oxford Street, as well as mamy other places. I picked up a few things here and there, and went to places like Urban Outfitters and Forever 21, as there aren't many of them near where I live.
I also went to other shops including the good old Primark, Topshop, New Look, and a famous toyshop named Hamleys, which was rather busy!

STARBUCKS
  Of course, the trip wouldn't have been complete without the odd trip to Starbucks! My new favourites include the Chocolate Cream, although I am yet to try the Gingerbread Latte!

The Theatre
  We made 2 visits to the theatre to see performances of the Woman In Black and Spamalot, which were both enjoyable. I would reccommend them both, although Spamalot is alot more "Adult Appropriate" than it seems..!

And...

Amongst her things the other highlights of the trip were:
Getting a taste of culture in the Borough Food Market
Having a guided tour of Shakespeare's Globe
Having a nice meal at Pizza Hut
Buying lots of lovely things& having an amazing expirience.

Mini-Update♥

Hi.
So today I thought it would be nice to have a bit of a catch-up with you all.  Of course, its not very often that I get to do this with you all, so its good for me to try and do it every now and then to keep all you chums up to date.

Bonfire night with Emily, Emma, Jess, Aidan, Hannah and Fraser

This year for bonfire night, I went to a fireworks display with Emily, Jess, Jessica, Emma  Hannah, Aidan Adam, Rory, Charlie, Jed, Niamh, Sophie, Caitlin, Fraser, Jack, Brooke and others.

It was a really good night; we watched the fireworks, went to Hannah's house, took loads of photos and videos and just had a really fun time.

Halloween! | Favourites, Photos, Costume & Makeup

This year on Halloween, I decided to dress up with all of my friends and go out! I dressed as a modern zombie-like girl... typical me.

Here are some of my highlights from Halloween this year:

Spooky Decor & Pumpkin Carving

One of my favourite things about Halloween is getting the house to look all spooky ready for the trick-or-treaters to come! This year we went for spider webs, skull lanterns, fairy lights and, of course, a pumpkin! Most people find the smell of pumpkin rather unpleasant, but its one of my favourite Halloween smells!

Candles

I am a candle-obsessive freak, ok. I'm also going to purchase some incense sticks for my room I just love all of the indie smells they give off; they're just so perfect to get in the autumnal mood for Halloween!

Costume & Halloween Make-Up

Like i said, this year for Halloween, i dressed up as a modern-day zombie. Which basically ended up with me dressed in normal clothes with black fishnet, lace, black hearts under my eyes, red lipstick, and other Halloween features. I also put green, orange and red in my hair using Emily's hair chalks. Its a shame that I couldn't do much else on my face as my skin does not react well with most heavy eye makeup or eyeliner.

I was also torn between red, purple or orange lipstick, but in the end I opted for red - like the colour of blood!

MY NEW FAVOURITE DRINK with Beth

As you may have noticed, I recently used this image in a previous post where i talked about how i style my oversized t-shirts. Looking at the photo made me remember the most amazing drink we had on our run.

It was called Mountain Mist and it came in flavours like peach, mixed berries, lemon & lime, etc. It is sparkling fruit juice that was soooo nice and if you ever see it in the shops i would seriously recommend that you buy some!

How I Style Oversized T-Shirts With Beth

One of my favourite things ever to do fashion-wise at the moment is to style my baggy t-shirts so i can pull them off in an everyday look. I hope that by doing this post you can then take some inspiration from this and perhaps thinking about trying this yourself. Its also a great thing to do this autumn now that the weather is getting colder.

Here are some things you can try:

1. Although shorts are quite a summertime clothing item, I think it looks great to wear your baggy shirts tucked in but loosely so that it adds a bit of character to your look.

2..I like to team baggy tops with some tighter trousers or skinny jeans; I think its a good combination

3. Baggy T-shirts are great just for days in the house if your having a lazy day in. They're really comfy and are great for relaxing in.

4. I go on runs quite often with my friend Beth, and we're always wearing baggy tops to go with our leggings and running shoes! Sounds weird and not very fashionable, but they're great to allow you to move around more so that you're not restricted whilst you run.

Excited for Autumn | Reasons Why

l much as I love summer, I'm really glad its Autumn! Here are a few of the reasons why I love this season:

Things I Love About Autumn ♥

Movie Days

I love having days out with friends, so this autumn I'm going to be inviting them round for a movie day to keep us inside and out of the cold. Having movie days are great way of socialising, having a laugh, and cosying down where its warm with some hot drinks and snacks - one of my favourite things to do ever!

Going for Walks/Runs

I cant wait to go for some nice walks these next couple of months (when its not freezing cold!) I think it will be great to take in the autumn scenery before it all dissapears to let the snow fall!

Nature

I love seeing the leaves change colour, as it all happens at different stages. Soon we'll have lushious greens, vibrant reds, fiesty oranges and bright yellows covering the trees in colour and life. It'll look amazing.

Shoes

I find that in autumn i can be varied with the shoes i wear. This season i'm going to be wearing alot of Converse, Vans, boots, brouges, suede heels, and slippers for cosy days in!

Going places

I love going places all year round, and now its Autumn i think its the perfect time of year to do just that. Wether your with family or friends, its always fun to go out.

Hot drinks

I feel that in the summer you miss out on the warm drinks: its too hot for them! Its going to be nice to snuggle down with a nice mug of tea/coffee/hot chocolate.

Fashion
I love seeing all of the new fashion trends that autumn brings along. This season, i'm loving the oversized jumpers, fur-hooded coats, fluffy, winter socks and chunky, checkered scalves!

Halloween

I'm so excited for Halloween this year! Going out, dressing up, having a night out and having an excuse to stay out later with friends and eat loads :').

Family Time

I feel like now there isn't much to do outside, I can spend a lot more time with my family this season. Its always good to have the odd day with your family so you can just have a nice chat with them, or have a fun day out somewhere.



Spending Time With Friends
I love spending time with friends,  and i go out with them all year round. I really want to go out with them more outside of school&shopping trips. This season i have parties, meet-ups and events to look forward to with them, which is great!

Soap&Glory - 'The Righteous Butter'

In September I tried the Soap and Glory 'The Righteous Butter'. Its a really creamy body butter which I like to use after a nice bath to help keep my skin moisturised. I also like to apply some on the back of my hands to stop them going dry with the cold weather that's just around the corner. I also think that Soap & Glory products make great birthday/ Christmas presents which you could give to your friends or family. The product smells amazing as well and I highly recommend it!

Our Moment - 1D Perfume Review

As you will probably be aware, One Direction have released their own perfume very recently called Our Moment. It smells amazing; it is a mix of grapefruit, citrus, and notes of jasmine. Zayn announced that his favourite ingredient of the perfume is jasmine, which is also my favourite element of the scent. It smells floral and very fruity; its just delicious! 

The bottle is also very pretty and girly, it looks great.

Wether your a 1D fan or not, i highly reccomend this product!

Caravan with Emily and Jess

A couple of weeks ago i stayed at my friends caravan for a few days in Haltwhistle.

When we arrived at the caravan site we went to a park for a while just to sit and talk for a bit. it was nice to just chill with them (Emily & Jess). 

After this we walked back to the caravan and had a night in watching films and eating food. It was a good laugh. I actually had forgotten how much I love the TV series 'Miranda' until we got through all the episodes in that night. It was great. 

The next day we went for a shop around Haltwhistle which is a really quaint town. There aren't many stores apart from a Sainsbury's, a vintage shop, a general goods store and a small café. 

We went for lunch and then went to a private pool that we had booked for just the three of us. It was great to have the whole pool to ourselves and it wasn't that expensive; £6 per person for an hour. It was great fun and we got some good photos of us in the pool.

Overall it was a great weekend.
